At the 10^th FENS Forum in Copenhagen the ERA-NET Neuron Plenary Lecture was held by Professor Dr. Hannah Monyer from the Department of Clinical Neurobiology at University Hospital Heidelberg. The lecture ‘Inhibition in the brain: From individual cells to networks’ was introduced by Prof. J. Lerma Gómez (Alicante, Spain) and focused on the functional analysis of different interneuronal populations and the coordination of inhibition to synchronize the spiking activity in neuronal networks.
